The Board of Education of the Iron County School District welcomed four new members during a special meeting Tuesday.
Tiffiney Christiansen, Stephanie Hill, Lauren Lewis and Megen Ralphs took the oath of office with Judge Brent Dunlap leading the swearing in ceremony.
The first agenda item of the new board was electing a new board president and Vice President. The board elected Ben Johnson as president with a vote of 4 to 3. Lauren Lewis was nominated and elected vice president with a vote of 4 to 3.
