David Horsager speaks about trust

Iron County District teachers keep learning in the summer as about 480 attended the two-day Iron Strong Conference at Cedar High School July 13-14.

Along with instruction on using data, conquering Canvas and collaboration through PLCs, teachers enjoyed amazing messages from David Horsager on the impact of trust, Eric Sheninger on preparing students for their future, Chad Hymas on being an influencer in the classroom, Tom Schimmer on grading practices and Superintendent Lance Hatch on how educators are champions.

The conference was made possible through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief  (ESSER) funding. Special thanks to all of the presenters and sponsors including SEDC, Iron District Foundation, IReadySouthern Utah University and Tava Health.
