The first-ever ICSD public technology surplus sale concluded at noon yesterday, June 16.  The experience for us was very helpful to identify where we can improve for future sales.  Your patience throughout the sale was very-much appreciated!

It has come to our attention that a few purchased devices may need to be exchanged.

1. Of the 450+ Chromebooks purchased, approx 10 -- model HP G5 11" -- may have a battery swell.  We caught this (almost) immediately but those of the first group to purchase Chromebooks, from the outside table, could be one of the ten.  Please check:  If the lid does not close completely (or close evenly), and the keyboard is slightly raised in the center, this is caused by the battery and the Chromebook needs to be exchanged.

2.  Of the many dozens of Mac Mini Computers sold, a handful were not fully reset.  Upon boot-up, the system will ask for a password and it may appear to still be connected to a user.  We can either wipe and reset the Mac Mini you have, or simply exchange it for another.

If you find you were the buyer of one of the 15-20 units in question, please click the following link (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJddWIRFbDqqEs0Wd5g-66huWkzQIGC2pCv2xB0Fjf7HiWAA/viewform ) to provide your contact information.  We will coordinate with you to exchange (or modify) the devices.

Thank you!
