1. Students, Parents, School Staff and community members understand, respect and support each other’s roles and expectations.

1. ICSD ranks at the top of districts in Utah for the percentage of students demonstrating proficiency in the State of Utah according to state assessments in the areas of English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and CTE.

2. Grade reporting to students and parents is an accurate indication of what students really know and what they can do.

3. All students have access to high quality instruction and learning opportunities regardless of the school or class they may attend.

Goals

1. Currently, 82% of teachers agree that they are adequately recognized for the work they do by school leadership, 69% by parents and 60% by the community. By May of 2025, at least 87% of teachers will agree that they are adequately recognized by school leadership, 75% by parents and 65% by the community for the work they do.

2. Currently, 59% (48/82) of school goals were met. By the end of the 2024-25 school year, 65% or more of the school goals will be achieved.

3. According to Spring 2023 data, ICSD is 9th in the state for Language Arts Proficiency, 16th for Math and 9th for Science. By May of 2025, ICSD will improve in rank to 7th for Language Arts, 12th for Math and 7th for Science.

4. During the 2023-24 school year, 1,225 incidents occurred that fell into the categories of Physical Aggression, Disruptive Behavior, Defiance, or Class Disruptions. By the end of the 2024-25 school year the number of these types of incidents will be decreased by 15% to 1,042.

  • During the 2023-24 school year, 1,166 Life Launch lessons were viewed. By May of 2025, secondary schools will use the resources in Life

    Launch University for all students at least twice per month resulting in at least 4,250 lessons being viewed.
