For elementary students, the first day of school looks a little bit different this year. Elementary schools will hold an open house on Tuesday, Aug. 15, which replaces back-to-school nights. Elementary students will attend their first day of school on Aug. 16. Parents are invited to meet their child’s teachers during that open house (see the listed times) as it fits in their schedule. The regular class schedule begins on Aug. 16.
The open house looks a little different at each school. Look for information to come from your principal.
However, for your information, the schedules individual schools plan to follow are:
East Elementary - Open house 9:30-11 a.m. and noon to 3:30 p.m.
Enoch Elementary - Open house during regular school hours.
Escalante Elementary - Open house during regular school hours.
Fiddlers Elementary - Open house during regular school hours.
Iron Springs Elementary - Open house from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
North Elementary - Open house 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Parowan Elementary - Open house 9 a.m.-noon and 1-2:30 p.m.
South Elementary - Open house during regular school hours.
Three Peaks Elementary - Open house during regular school hours with some evening hours upon request.
In middle schools and high schools, the regular schedule will be followed with students attending the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 15.
