The Color Run is coming up! We will have the run on May 21 at 2:30. This year we are using Fund Hub Get Movin' again to help promote our Color Run fundraiser. This year we are raising money for gym improvements, teacher grants for next year, and future PTA activities.
We would LOVE for all the children to get registered for the run. When they register, they get their own website and link they can send to others for donations. (They can also bring in cash or check if they prefer that method. We keep 100% of in school donations brought in as cash/check.) Every child who registers will receive a pencil topper... no donations necessary for that prize! We also have a variety of prizes the kids can earn depending on how much money they bring in in donations.
We have also set up some class incentives. For every class that meets their donation earning goal ($35 per student multiplied by the number of students in your class), the PTA will provide popsicles for a popsicle party during one of your recesses. We also will have a glow in the dark dance party for the class that earns the most! (We will determine this on a percentage so that those with a smaller class size won't be at a disadvantage to those with larger classes.)
As a school, for every $1,000 we raise, we will add another color of powder to throw during the run.
