Next week is teacher appreciation week at North Elementary. Please see the attached flier for all of the details on our ICSD app/ Facebook page or on the school website. We want to recognize all of our amazing teachers and staff. They really do so much for our Polar Bears and make our school extra special. We LOVE our teachers!

Parents:
We would like to invite any seniors who are graduating this year that had attended North Elementary to come to our first "Senior Parade" in our new building. This will be the first group of kids that started at the new school that are now graduating this May. It will be on Wednesday, May 21st from 3:00-3:15. They will march through the halls in their cap and gowns and all of the North Elementary students and teachers will clap for them as they make their way through the school. North Elementary is proud of their achievement & we look forward to celebrating them.

KITE FLIGHT is tomorrow, Saturday, the 26th! Bring completed reading charts to Cedar Middle school between 10 and 3 pm.

Keep reading and complete your Kite Flight reading charts! Each chart turned in on Saturday, April 26th, is money for our school!
See the flier for details. Extra charts are in the office or you can print your own.

We would like to remind you that it is that time of year where there will be many field trips. Only volunteers that have been fingerprinted are allowed to attend on behalf of the school. This is a great time of year to get your fingerprints in, as the new school year books up. Fingerprints last throughout your child's education in ICSD unless you revoke your fingerprints. Please use the following QR code and then click on VOLUNTEER Fingerprint to get registered.

Last week, North kindergarteners have been working on their reading and writing skills while learning about the world around them: animals, plants, and weather.
Our second annual PTA Paint Night was a hit and sold out quickly on March 27! Our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Hales guided families with painting a geometric polar bear. A huge shout out for the SUU ArtsFusion volunteers that helped with our event, along with our amazing PTA for all their planning and set up for the event.

Kindergarten Registration is in person tomorrow, 12:30-3:00. Even if you have registered online please plan on attending so that your child can meet the teachers, have a short assessment, and have copies made if needed of your required papers. We look forward to seeing you then! Please spread the word!
